Kind of weird that I hear about an active shooter in my own state from an Aussie reading about it on a Canadian news site. And I listened to the news on the radio on my way to work just now.

It’s not near me, and I got to work a half hour ago, so it had just happened and it would have been difficult for them to have known . But still weird.

so far, police are reporting no injuries, about an hour after the initial report. Here’s hoping that continues.

Tosail HS is located right adjacent to Topsail Beach NC which is just north of Wilmington or south-east of Raleigh
